Wildlife and Nature

Airport pickup from the Bandaranaike International Airport and at the Airport you will meet our Tour Representative. Heading to Kalutara. In the afternoon either you can relax in the hotel or take a short walk through beautiful Kalutara beach to enjoy the shining sunset.

Leave from the hotel in the early morning with packed breakfast to Sinharaja Rainforest. Sinharaja Forest Reserve is a national park and a biodiversity hotspot in Sri Lanka. It is of international significance and has been designated a Biosphere Reserve and World Heritage Site by UNESCO.  It’s world heritage site. Walking through few kilometres to the Rainforest you can experience,

• the natural waterfalls,
• rainforest vegetations,
• good for bird watching and
• The high tree Canopy.

After complete, the first half of the forest return to the hotel for overnight stay.

After having early breakfast continue the Sinharaja forest to explore the wildlife and nature secrets.  After lunch head to Udawalawa.

Leave from hotel early morning with packed breakfast to Udawalawa National Park for seeing the wildlife activities.Udawalawa is an important habitat for water birds and Sri Lankan elephants. It is a popular tourist destination and the third most visited park in the country.   

Afternoon you can choose from,

• Udawalawa Elephant Transit home Or
• Madunagala Hot water Spring
• Fishing
• Nature walks / Bird watching

After breakfast proceed to Nuwara Eliya via Rawana waterfall & little Adams peak. 

Leave hotel from early morning with packed breakfast to Horton Plains National Park. Horton Plains was declared a UNESCO world heritage site.

National Park which is covered by montane grassland, waterfalls, cloud forest, nature walks and worlds end (sheer cliff with a drop of around 4000 feet) to experience the breathtaking views and beautiful creatures.

Afternoons proceed to Kandy via beautiful tea plantation & waterfalls.

After breakfast visit to The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. It’s a Buddhist temple in the city of Kandy, Sri Lanka. It is located in the royal palace complex of the former Kingdom of Kandy, which houses the relics of the tooth of the Buddha.
Afterwards, visit to Udawaththa kale (Udawaththa kale Sanctuary) famous as the Royal Fortress Park of Kandy for
Bird watching with surrounding beautiful nature. It is a historic forest reserve on a hill-ridge in the city of Kandy. It is 104 hectares large.
In the afternoon heading to Colombo.

After breakfast, take Colombo city tour includes Gangarama Buddhist Temple is a mix of modern architecture and cultural essence and enjoy last minutes shopping. Afternoon relaxing in the hotel.

After a wonderful and memorable tour with us take you back to the Bandaranaike International Airport in time to the connecting flight for the safe return journey until we meet you in your next tour with us.
