Wilpattu National Park located on the west coast close to the ancient city Anuradhapura. The unique feature of this national park is the existence of the Willus ( natural lakes) and It’s filled with the rainwater.

Wilpattu National Park is among the oldest and most important protected area of Sri Lanka and situated in the dry zone, and is unlike any other wildlife sanctuary in Sri Lanka. Monsoon season visits the park March and April. So, the average temperature in the Park is around 27 Celsius.
